Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Tapglide, a service operated by Clover Digital Ltd, a company incorporated in the United Kingdom (“Tapglide”, “we”, “us”).

By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using Tapglide, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

1. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Tapglide.
  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity under your account.
  • One account per person; sharing accounts or logins is not permitted.

2. The service

Tapglide creates “deep links” that, when opened on a mobile device, attempt to launch the YouTube native app instead of an in-app browser. The service is provided “as is”: deep-link behaviour depends on the operating system, the source app (Instagram, TikTok, etc.), and the user’s installed apps, and we cannot guarantee a successful native-app launch in every case. A web fallback is always provided.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will give reasonable notice of material reductions in functionality where it would meaningfully affect paid plans.

3. Subscriptions, plans, and billing

  • Plans. Tapglide offers Base, Pro, and Deluxe plans, available monthly, annually, or as a one-time lifetime (LTD) purchase. Current pricing is shown on the pricing page.
  • Billing. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel beforehand. Lifetime purchases are charged once and grant access for as long as Tapglide operates.
  • Payment processor.All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing or purchasing a lifetime plan, you also agree to Stripe’s terms.
  • Trials. The Base plan may be offered with a free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends; you may cancel at any time during the trial.
  • Refunds. Subscription fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. For the lifetime plan, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase if you have not made significant use of the service. Promotional or heavily-discounted purchases may be non-refundable; we will state this at checkout.
  • Taxes. Prices are exclusive of VAT or sales tax unless stated otherwise. Where applicable, taxes are added at checkout.
  • Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we may suspend your access until payment is updated. Repeated failures may result in cancellation.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Tapglide to:

  • Link to content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or otherwise prohibited by YouTube’s terms.
  • Distribute malware, phishing pages, or content designed to deceive users about the destination of a link.
  • Engage in spam, mass unsolicited messaging, or artificial inflation of click metrics.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or interfere with the service or its security.
  • Resell or rebrand Tapglide as your own service without our written permission.
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, including without notice in cases of serious or repeated violations.

5. Your content and licence

You retain all rights to the URLs and metadata you submit. You grant Tapglide a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, transmit, and display this content solely as needed to provide the service. We may also use aggregated, de-identified data to improve the product.

6. Partner program

Tapglide operates a partner program that pays commissions on referred subscriptions and lifetime purchases. By joining the partner program you agree to the following rules in addition to these Terms:

  • Commission tiers. Standard tiers pay 30% (Partner), 40% (Gold Partner) at 4+ active referrals, and 50% (Ambassador) at 10+ active referrals. Custom commission rates may apply to specific accounts and override the tiered rate.
  • Commission window.Commissions are earned for up to 12 months from each referred customer’s first paid invoice.
  • Approval and payouts. Commissions are approved after a hold period to account for refunds and disputes, then paid out to your connected Stripe Connect account. Disputed or refunded charges reverse the corresponding commission.
  • Brand bidding prohibited.You may not bid on or otherwise advertise against the “Tapglide” brand or any confusingly similar term in paid search, social ads, or app-store ads. Doing so will result in forfeiture of pending commissions and termination from the partner program.
  • No incentivised referrals. You may not pay, rebate, or otherwise compensate users for signing up via your link beyond the gift discount we explicitly offer.
  • Honest promotion. Disclose your partner relationship where required by law (FTC, ASA, or equivalent).
  • Self-referrals and abuse. Referring your own accounts, fraudulent referrals, or any scheme that artificially inflates commissions will result in commission reversal and termination.
  • Custom usernames. Affiliate code usernames are claimed on a first-come basis and are subject to a one-time claim mechanism. We reserve the right to reclaim usernames that infringe trademarks, contain offensive content, or are otherwise inappropriate.
  • Termination. Either party may terminate participation in the partner program at any time. On termination, commissions earned and approved up to that point remain payable; pending unaccrued commissions do not.

7. Cancellation and termination

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
  • You may delete your account from the settings page. We will delete or anonymise your personal data subject to the retention periods set out in our Privacy Policy.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or where required by law.

8. Intellectual property

The Tapglide name, logo, software, and content are owned by Clover Digital Ltd and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service while your account is in good standing. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the service except where allowed by law.

9. Third-party services

Tapglide relies on third-party services (Supabase, Stripe, Vercel, PostHog, and others). Your use of those services through Tapglide is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers.

Tapglide is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Google, Meta, Instagram, TikTok, or any other platform we link to or detect.

10. Disclaimers

Tapglide is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Click measurements are best-effort and may be affected by ad blockers, tracking-prevention features, or network conditions.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tapglide’s total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Clover Digital Ltd, its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent revision. For material changes, we will give reasonable notice by email or in-app before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers may bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence where required by mandatory local law.
